Commons Meeting & Evening in the Solar, January 10

Happy New Year! Please join us next Thursday, January 10, for a Commons meeting and beaded veil class.

This is our usual quarterly commons; topics will include confirmation of a formal financial policy, upcoming events, &c. If you have anything else you’d like to put on the agenda, please email seneschal@whytwhey.eastkingdom.org.

Following Commons, please stay for a class on beaded veils, taught by Lady Beatrice della Rocca! The adding of beads to veils is an old and classic way of not only showing off your skills but also making your veils look lovely. In this class, you will learn the same techniques to bead your veils as was taught at last Pennsic. Needles, thread, beads and simple veils will be supplied, but feel free to bring your own veils. This is a hands-on class, with spectators being welcome.

We will be at the usual location, 255 W. 105th St., #21. Commons will begin at 7pm, and the schola will follow.

Position descriptions are here:
Please consider if someone you know would be a good candidate for any of these offices, and invite them to throw their hat into the ring.  A vote of confidence from their friends is often just the encouragement someone needs to volunteer for an office.
